Moreton House offers flexible, luxury group accommodation ideal for several families holidaying together, friend or business groups or extended families. The accommodation is arranged as 4 luxurious self-catering apartments plus a number of additional guest rooms, and they can be booked individually or in combination to suit different sized groups.

The apartments are set around an open courtyard, and while they can be used completely independently for single families, it is also possible to open up the lobbies between the apartments, and thus they also lend themselves to being used more communally.
Groups of 12 or more can be assured of exclusive use of entire accommodation wing of this period country house and gardens.
Social space is aplenty, inside and out. The courtyard has outdoor seating, BBQ and dining area with fire pits for cooler evenings. There is a 'secret garden' BBQ area with a campfire circle and gazebo in the main garden. Croquet and garden games are available in our 5 acre tree-lined grounds. And indoors, there are several kitchens and lounge areas at your disposal, the largest of which allows the perfect entertaining space for everyone to dine or mingle together. It has often been used for extended family Christmas breaks, family celebrations, small weddings and reunions.
Each bedroom has its own special features to suit different needs - including accessible bathrooms with wet room showers in some, roll top baths in others, and a choice of four poster, superking bed, twins, family rooms, and romantic bedroom suites with their own log burner.
Catering and private dining options can be arranged, and there are additional formal function rooms or meeting rooms that can be added, with catering and event management options to suit corporate clients, celebrations and retreats.
The house is family owned and run, and recently underwent a full renovation and restoration, showcasing the period features while introducing modern luxuries. Wifi, smart TVs, washer dryers and dishwashers, with all new appliances, plus good water pressure and underfloor heating make for a spa-like bathroom experience.
The house is ideally located on the outskirts of Bideford in the beautiful north Devon countryside and close to both the coast and moors.
Children's indoor play room included, plus bikes, boards and beach games to borrow.

Ample off-street parking for all, right outside the accommodation wing. Fast EV charging if required. Free run of our 5 acre grounds and gardens, but also private courtyard, BBQ deck, firepits and outdoor dining areas to enjoy right beside the kitchens.
Downstairs Description
Three ground floor apartments surround the courtyard on the ground floor. Neighbouring two-bedroom apartments can be booked together to suit two families of up to 8-10 guests total. Add the third studio suite to include another couple. The largest suite has dining and mingling space for a dozen easily. Wood burners, make it cosy for winter breaks, or french doors and outdoor BBQ decks make it ideal for summer.
First Floor Description
An additional two bedroom family apartment lies directly above, adding capacity for a further 5 guests, and adjacent there are stand-alone guest rooms, which can add individuals, couples or an extra family or two for the full stay or just a night or two if you wish to gather extra guests to join for just a specific part of the stay.
