Southsyde holiday cottage stands in the middle of the trio of traditional farm cottages at Hendersyde Farm, near Kelso, in The Scottish Borders.

Southsyde is one of four holiday cottages available to rent from Hendersyde Farm Self-Catering Holiday Homes, near Kelso, in The Scottish Borders. Hendersyde lies between The River Tweed and Eden Water, downstream from delightful Kelso, in the beautiful Border Country.

This means guests can cancel a booking, due to unforeseen reasons, between 60 days and 2 days before their check in date and receive a full refund of the lodging costs they have paid. The small, secluded, south facing garden is reached through the front door in the lobby. With garden table chairs and bench you can relax outside and enjoy the views. There is space to park two cars behind the cottages. An out-house to store bikes, golf clubs and fishing tackle opposite the back door.
Southsyde porch leads through the kitchen, to the lobby from where you can access the downstairs bath room and sitting room, or step outside into the south facing garden. The cosy sitting room has an open fire. The bath room has a shower over the bath. The cottage is centrally heated throughout.
First Floor Description
The stair-case divides left and right to two bed rooms, with wonderful views both north and south. Each bed room can be prepared with a super-king or twin beds.
Window Views Description
The southerly views stretch across The Tweed Valley to The Cheviot Hills in Northumberland National Park. To the north you can see Hume Castle on the horizon - well worth a visit for the vista, history and to get your bearings!
