Ivy Cottage is a spacious, traditional carrstone property within walking distance of the village pub and all the amenities that Docking has to offer. A perfect hideaway for couples, families and groups of friends to enjoy throughout the seasons, the property is dog friendly too, so your four-legged friends can enjoy a break away.
Built in 1776, this Georgian cottage has many original period features and benefits from three bedrooms (two king-size and two 2' 6 singles, the latter of which can be made up as a king-size bed on request). The master bedroom has a large decked south facing sun terrace. The spacious well-equipped kitchen also has a breakfast bar with seating for two. Outside there is private off road car parking for one car and two enclosed furnished courtyards, which is ideal for small children and your furry friends.
Docking is a pretty village with excellent local amenities, and makes for a great base for those of you who would like to get out and about exploring coastal and rural Norfolk. There's always plenty to see and do, from water sports, fabulous beaches (Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea) and country houses (both Sandringham House and Houghton Hall) are close by. Enjoy lovely walks on the Peddar's Way and North Norfolk Coastal path. If you are a foodie and eating out is your favourite thing, you are truly spoilt for choice with so many quality restaurants and delis, both on the coast and inland too, including the award-winning Duck Inn at Stanhoe just a short four minute drive away.
