This stylish brick and flint semi-detached cottage, dating back to the 1850s, mixes modern fixtures and fittings with original features, and is situated in an unspoilt countryside location in the village of Bessingham. Just a few minutes by car from Cromer and its Blue Flag sandy beach and Georgian gem Holt (a pretty, bustling market town with an incredible array of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants), this charming character cottage is ideal for a family, small group of friends or couples.
A well-equipped kitchen with original timber beams opens up into a light and airy dining room overlooking the sunny garden. Perfect for a morning coffee and alfresco dining, the garden is a gorgeously quiet outdoor space in which to while away the afternoon as the wine chills and the sun goes down. The sitting room retains its original brick fireplace and the wood burning stove makes this cottage comfortable and cosy during the winter months. Wooden, Norfolk winder stairs (steep!) take you up to three bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, one with a double and a twin room (with 3' beds). The cottage has two bathrooms: a family bathroom downstairs; and upstairs, a shower room.
Loke Cottage offers the opportunity to spend quality time away together on holiday in a lovely location, only a short drive from the picturesque North Norfolk Coast. If you fancy walking the Coastal Path, cycling along country lanes, bird watching, a spot of surfing or golfing or simply lazing on a beautiful, sandy beach, plus being spoilt for choice with fabulous eateries, then Loke Cottage is for you!
