Set within the owner’s grounds, the cottage has its own private driveway and entrance. Inside, a welcoming lobby leads to the cosy lounge, furnished with two sofas and armchairs for relaxing in front of the Smart TV. The adjoining kitchen and dining area, complete with a stable door to the garden, features an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The dining table comfortably seats six adults and two children, and there’s a highchair available. The ground floor also includes a WC, a utility room with a washing machine, and a snug with armchairs and a wood-burner for cosy evenings.
Upstairs are four bedrooms: a double with en-suite shower room, a second double, a bunk room for children, and a single room. A shared fitted wardrobe is located on the landing, and an additional single sofa bed can be arranged in the snug or bunk room. The family bathroom includes a shower over the bath—ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. Please note that, due to the property’s age, some ceilings and beams are low.
Outside, the part-lawn, part-patio garden offers a peaceful spot for al fresco dining or relaxing while buzzards soar overhead. Private off-road parking is available for up to four cars.
