One of our two bed two bath cottages, Shell’s spirit pays homage to the Shell Gallery that was formerly sited in the west barn of Sharrington Hall. The colours are a sophisticated soft blend of oyster, silver and taupe, and subtle playful shell motifs decorate the house in the form of lampshades and mirrors.
The kitchen has a hand-built painted kitchen and antique French refectory table and chairs. There is open access to a separate sitting room, with a contemporary L-shaped sofa, large open fireplace and log burning stove.
There are two ensuite double bedrooms. One has a European king four-poster bed, antique chest, hanging space and grand doors opening into a bathroom with cast iron roll top bath, WC and basin. The second bedroom offers twin or superking bed with large doors opening into a bathroom with WC, basin and walk-in shower tiled in oyster-coloured pebbles.
Shell is approx one hundred sq metres and has free wifi, freesat TV, DVD player, digital radio with bluetooth speaker, dishwasher, hairdryer, central heating and access to washing machine/ironing. Towels, linens and logs provided.
