When the 6th Duke of Devonshire finished his landscaping in the 1760s, Gardener’s Cottage was the only building still surviving. The spacious lounge has a large corner sofa & TV with Blu-ray player, perfect for watching a Movie after a busy swim in the pool & there is a lovely dining area ideal for a family evening meal.
Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, and a family bathroom. Sleeping 5 guests and 1 cot.
Emma’s Dairy is pet friendly and allows one well behaved dog; there are plenty of walks around the farm and The Shropshire Union Canal is close by. The cottage has a small, enclosed patio & garden area.
Locally, there are plenty of excellent local attractions to keep your family entertained, including the incredible Bewilderwood, the world-renowned Chester Zoo, Hoo Farm & Dinosaur Land, the magical Hawkstone Follies, Park Hall Farm with its wonderful Tractor Rides and Alderford Lake Aqua Park that is literally just down the road!! Along with many Castles, Historic Houses and places of interest as well!!
Our Charming local market town of Whitchurch us less than 2 miles away. Filled with coffee shops, bakeries and some delightful artisan shops and boutiques, which are lovely to explore. The Antiques Emporium is an excellent venue to spend some time exploring and Doddle Alley Pottery painting is also located in Whitchurch.
There are plenty of family friendly places to eat including Rubens American Diner, Etzios, The Black Bear and many more.
