When the 6th Duke of Devonshire finished his landscaping in the 1760s, Gardener’s Cottage was the only building still surviving. Eorsa Lodge has twin beds that can accommodate up to two adults. The twin beds can be combined upon request to provide king size linen, however please be advised that there is only one bedside lamp due to the size of the bed, in the event that a double is needed and both other lodges are filled.
The cosy lounge features a two-seater sofa, an armchair, and a Smart TV/DVD that can play CDs and MP3 discs. The living room feels spacious and light thanks to the huge patio doors. In the colder months, warmth is provided by the electric panel heating system and log-effect stove.
After passing through the dining room, you enter the completely furnished kitchen, which has a full-sized electric cooker, a microwave, a slimline dishwasher, and a spacious fridge-freezer.
The large bathroom features a heated towel rail, downflow heater, walk-in shower and washbasin. Everything you need is included, even the kitchen towels.
The bedroom features two single beds separated by a lamp and a nightstand. There is just room for one bedside lamp, but the beds have comfortable duvets that can be ziplinked into a huge bed. King size bedding is available upon request. If you require two bedsides, we suggest one of our kingsize lodges. A spacious mirrored wardrobe including internal drawers and a hairdryer is also there. We also install thermostatic panel heaters, and double-glazing and insulation are standard in all of our lodges.
The large verandah in front of the self-catering lodge has seats outside so that guests may take in the stunning views and sounds of the Isle of Mull.
