A former cartshed and stable, Canfers Barn has been fully renovated and restored to provide a wonderful coutryside retreat.

The Pig House is very spacious with an enormous open plan kitchen, living and dining area which overlooks the courtyard garden to the south through four enormous glass screens.
The kitchen is very well equipped for any discerning chefs and many of our guests employ a local chef to come and cook for a special evening.
For those wishing to have a bit of time out, there is an additional sitting room which has a stunning glass corner which overlooks the valley. It really is the most tranquil room to sit in and read a book, chat or simply to sit and look out and enjoy the outside from inside!
Finally a cinema room completes the living space. There is a drop down screen, surround sound, very comfy Ligne Roset orange sofas, black out blinds and curtains so that you can shut yourself in and immerse yourself in a real cinema experience in the comfort of The Pig House.
The Pig House has internet connection through Starlink, so despite being very rural the internet speed is excellent.
The four ensuite bedrooms are all spacious with fitted wardrobes. All have superking beds, three of which are zip and link, so can be made up as single beds at the request of guests.
The bathrooms are tiled, with large showers, underfloor heating and electric towel rails. The shower in the master bedroom is so big that it has two showers in it!
The outside space at The Pig House is plentiful. Both gardens are fully enclosed. The courtyard garden faces south and has outdoor table and seating for eight.

Steps lead down to the large lawned garden with an array of wonderful plants, gently sloping to a wild area with meandering pathways and hedgy borders for ultimate privacy. At the bottom of the garden is a small wooden gate which provides easy access down to Mullion Cove from the road. The garden also has the delight of a circular pavilion seating area, an idyllic spot for breakfast or afternoon tea as the ocean glistens beyond.
Henscath House also has a wonderful rear garden behind the spacious gravel driveway. It boasts mature hedging, plants and trees on its borders, several vegetable patches and a greenhouse. You are more than welcome to pick vegetables and herbs from the garden for your own use. The friendly gardener visits Henscath House once a week and is more than happy to advise on the vegetables. The handy outdoor shower is perfect for washing sand off after the beach and there is a storage space just around the side of the house for wetsuits, paddleboards etc. If you can tear yourself away from this special retreat, you have the delights of Mullion Cove, Polurrian Beach and Poldhu Beach just a stone’s throw away.
