823 square miles of beautiful National Park, Snowdonia is one of the largest National Parks in all of the UK. Named after the famous Mount Snowden, Snowdonia contains some of the most beautiful scenery, wildlife and culture in all of Wales.
With incredible history and scenery, it is no surprise that Snowdonia is one of the most visited locations in the UK with approximately 4 million visitors in 2016. There are a variety of ways to climb Snowden, with a host of footpaths snaking up the mountain. Staying in luxury cottages near Snowdonia National Park is a great way to see this incredible landscape.
Nevertheless, there is plenty more on offer in Snowdonia than walking. Fell-running, cycling, sailing or visiting local towns such as Betws-y-coed will make sure that no-one is bored during your stay.
