Just a couple of hours from central London and with some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere in the UK, Suffolk is the ideal getaway this year. There is so much to see and do in Suffolk and you have the best of both worlds here with glorious countryside around every corner. Walkers and cyclist will love the friendly terrain while bird watchers and those who love photography will be well occupied. The Suffolk Coast is also a must visit part of the county and there is everything you would expect and more at the seaside in Suffolk
Many visitors to Suffolk want to visit the multitude of stately and historic houses that dot the landscape such as Ickworth House, (pictured) a country house near to Bury St Edmunds.
We think Suffolk, the home of Constable is a fabulous holiday choice with medieval towns and villages to visit, fine eateries and attractions, maybe a day at the races or a trip to Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds. When the day is done you know you can retreat to your luxury Suffolk Barn and plan what to see and do tomorrow.
Here are just a couple of luxury barns you may like to visit Doves Barn at Needham Market or Coda Cottages at Stowmarket and Stour Barn at Stonham Aspal. Handpicked Cottages is proud to present you with some of the finest luxury barns, cottages and lodges in Suffolk.
