Achnahatnich House is an immaculate holiday home in an idyllic and very private setting.
Delightfully situated on The Rothiemurchus Estate this beautiful property has been beautifully renovated in 2019 to provide a luxury stay in a uniquely private setting. Sleeping 6 guests in 3 sumptuous bedrooms the cottage has been fitted and furnished to the highest of luxury standards. Very private and secluded location and comfortable, elegant living space for guests with a bathroom for each bedroom. Stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountains from a quiet, "off the beaten" track location in the heart of a beautiful Highland estate, described as "one of the glories of wild Scotland" by Sir David Attenborough.
The house has a large enclosed garden and there is also a path which leads up the slope at the back of the house towards the viewpoint which gives 360 views of the mountains and hills all around. There is a secure shed for storage of bikes and other sports equipment. The house is in a totally secluded and private setting with no other houses within sight - you have total privacy at Achnahatnich, other than the cows in the field behind the house.
A beautiful and elegant living room with views out to the hills, and a wonderful wood burner in the fireplace. The panelled corridor leads to the kitchen and snug room with all modern appliances and another fabulous wood burner in the snug area, as well as a dining table for 6 and comfortable seating. You also have a further scullery for laundry and washing. The ground floor houses one of the three bedrooms which can either be made up as superking or twin beds. It has its own en-suite shower room with rain shower and loo.
First Floor Description
The stairs lead up to the master bedroom, with a bed that can be superking or twin. It has views to the front and back of the house and over towards the mountains. There are french doors into the gorgeous en-suite bathroom, with freestanding bathtub as well as rain shower. The second bedroom on the first floor also has a superking bed (which can be made into twins if you prefer) and views towards the mountains. It has its own bathroom with spa bath which looks out over the back of the house.

Views of the Cairngorm Mountains to the front, and over farmland, barns and towards hills to the rear.
