Delightfully situated, Craster is on the Coastal Path and it is a 2 mile walk across the flat cliffs to Dunstanbrough Castle and Embleton Bay beyond. You will be just a short stroll from the historical harbour, still landing catches every day, supplying the local pubs and cafes. Drop in to the Jolly Fisherman, renowned for its seafood and fish and chips.

Outside Description
Crasterway has an enclosed south facing garden. There is a side gate straight to your cars safely parked by the fence.
The shed has a BBQ, outdoor toys and games plus it’s large enough to securely store bikes and golf equipment.
Crasterway is in a quiet, private cul de sac with just six houses, a two minute walk from the harbour, pub, coffee shop and traditional smokery.
Downstairs Description
The front door opens onto the hall with plenty of hanging space for coats and boots! There’s a cloakroom too with toilet and basin. The well equipped kitchen includes oven, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Plenty of crockery, glasses for all occasions and even a mussels pot! There’s a coffee machine, toaster and kettle, and a washer/dryer plus dishwasher. Everything you need for your home-from-home.
A large table seats everyone looking out onto the enclosed garden with bifold doors so you can welcome the outside, in. Perfect for BBQs.
There is a comfy sofa too, perfect for a cuppa basking in the sunshine.
Across the hall is a comfortable, relaxing lounge with seating for eight guests. A flat screen TV with all the latest Apps, so remember your passwords to log in. There are books, games, cards, but a lot of our guests enjoy a late afternoon snooze in here, after a long walk and before walking to the pub for the evening!
There is a large folder with lots of information about places to visit and activities in the local area and beyond. We'd be delighted if you'd also sign our visitors' book when you leave with any hints and tips for our next guests.
First Floor Description
There are four bedrooms, plus a family bathroom. The king size bedroom also has a large en-suite with a shower, toilet and basin.
There are two double bedrooms and a fourth bedroom with two large single beds with their own duvets. There are wardrobes in all bedrooms, plus hairdryers and hot water bottles.
All beds are ultra comfy and the linens are luxury cotton. You’ll also find a fluffy bath towel, hand towel and beach towel per guest.
All curtains are black out curtains to ensure a great night’s sleep.

The Jolly Fisherman Pub Craster
Our local, 200 yards from Crasterway! Specialises in fresh seafood, straight from the harbour, but also does great steak pies too. Crab sandwiches are a must and the lobster is fantastic. The seafood sharing platter is a favourite too. Booking is a must as it gets very busy. Inside and outdoor seating with views of the sea.
