Located within a magnificent Georgian country mansion with expansive lawns, Eslington East Wing provides spacious and elegant self-contained accommodations.
When you arrive in the East Wing, you are greeted with a warm and inviting entryway that leads to the kitchen. The kitchen has original flagstone flooring, an Aga cooker with excellent design and arches, and a convivial island where you may have afternoon tea or a casual breakfast. Passing through to the spacious dining area, which has a huge dining table that’s perfect for hosting family and friends and high ceilings with solid wood flooring. The grand piano in the cosy sitting room is just waiting for the next pianist to play some sweet notes, so cosy up by the open log fire.
There are five en-suite bedrooms in the East Wing, all tastefully furnished with vibrant couches and gorgeous interlined curtains. First-floor Snugs, which have games and toys for younger visitors, are ideal places to hide out and read or watch a movie.
On a summer’s day, you can enjoy classic garden games that are available for you to use upon request, or you can enjoy the views of the expansive grounds from the terrace that is furnished with garden furniture and a barbecue.
The guests of Eslington East Wing and Eslington Lodge have access to three spacious wildlife ‘hides’ that are furnished with chairs, binoculars, and reference books. The hides are dispersed across the Estate grounds, although visitors are free to rearrange them as needed. Red squirrels are being reintroduced to Eslington with the assistance of volunteers and the owners; these animals can be seen and enjoyed together with hedgehogs, deer, herons, blue tits, and robins. There have also been reports of kingfishers and woodpeckers stopping by on occasion! Alternatively, stroll over to the lily pond, which is a lovely place to sit, enjoy the quiet, and listen to the surrounding wildlife.
