Garden Bank Cottage - Rural holiday cottage on the Scottish Borders
Garden Bank Cottage is on an organic farm in a quiet corner of the Scottish Borders, just 3 miles from Kelso. A perfect place for exploring the beautiful scenery and magnificent beaches of the Scottish Borders and Northumberland.
There is a king size bedroom with shower en suite and twin room with a stunning wet room. Both shower rooms are tiled in travertine.
The sitting room is south facing with French windows and a wood burner, dining table, sofa and chairs and smart TV and a door onto the patio where you can relax on the recliners and swing chairs, enjoy a barbeque, evening drinks and take in the stunning view over the Tweed Valley and the Cheviots Hills on the horizon.
The small kitchen has been refurbished with a practical design and very well equipped and open plan with the sitting room making it a pleasant social area.
Kelso is a bustling market town with a farmer’s market, Kelso Abbey, Floors Castle (the oldest inhabited castle in Scotland), lovely shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Cockle Kitty is perfect for couples or families and is ideal for holidays and special breaks at any time of the year. Particularly inviting in the winter months, with its own biomass heating and endless supply of hot water.
Meals are available to be delivered if you would like to relax and take a break from cooking during your stay. If you like to be active during your stay, there is a tennis court on the farm (tennis coaching available), lovely walks beside the River Eden, where you will see our organic sheep grazing and spot otters, kingfishers, swans and deer in the woodland. On the farm we grow organic oats and flowers which are available to buy in our farm shop along with fresh eggs and other produce. This cosy country cottage offers a peaceful and tranquil getaway with wonderful views over the Eden and Tweed valleys towards the Cheviot hills. A perfect cottage for two or a family of four.

Outside Description
Garden Bank Cottage enjoys wonderful views to the south over the Eden valley and Tweed valley to the Cheviot Hills on the horizon. To the west are the Eildon Hills. Parking outside the door and extra parking and storage on the farm.
Downstairs Description
Garden Bank Cottage is on ground level with parking beside the door. The sitting room, the small but well designed kitchen and dining are are open plan with french - windows leading to the south facing patio with garden furniture including fun swing seats. The large twin room is adjacent to the gorgeous wet room clad with travertine. The king size bedroom en suite has a small but very beautiful shower room also travertine.

A beautiful vista to the south. Climb the hill on the farm and enjoy 360 degree panoramic view.
