A quality BBQ and a fire pit bowl are stocked with fuel ready for you to enjoy in the Gate Lodge garden. Gate Lodge is in the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park so our guests use our Astronomy Observatory to gaze at the stars and planets - all complimentary.
Downstairs Description
You can spend valuable time relaxing together in very comfortable accommodation, the living room features a stunning stone fireplace and a remote-controlled log-burner. Light oak furniture and flooring throughout, with silk curtains and upholstered window seats. Cook and eat in a superbly equipped and very light living kitchen looking south through a wide oak and glass screen to your private garden and patio. The superbly designed blue English oak kitchen has granite surfaces and fitted appliances complete with wine cooler.
The super-king bedroom has a 3000 pocket sprung mattress and offers a choice of duvet tog rating and pillows preference. The window seat overlooks the private patio and lawn and there is a flat-screen wall-mounted TV and new sound system with speakers throughout and pairing to internet, cd and phones.. Bathrobes and slippers are provided for your comfort.
The generously sized en-suite bath and wet room is fully-tiled and has an integral sound system, double-ended bath and walk-in wet-room incorporating a rain shower and power-shower hose.
