If you are looking for somewhere very special to get away together for a special break with extended family and friends or for a venue to a special occasion/event then we think we have found it. Glansevin Mansion.
Glansevin offers you exclusive use of the property and its private grounds and has been welcoming groups of guests for over 30 years.
The Mansion is able to accommodate up to 58 guests to stay together and the large dining room can seat up to 80 guests and has a well equipped kitchen alongside. For larger numbers a marquee for up to 100 guests can be hired on the back lawn. Dogs are also welcome.

Outside Description
The large grounds are the perfect place to play games or relax in the sunshine, with an open air unheated swimming pool and a sauna. You can walk immediately into the countryside from the gardens, or if you want to go further afield there are castles, waterfalls, rivers and lakes to discover in the nearby mountains. There are delicious eateries, art galleries, a deer park and botanical gardens all within a short drive. A stay at Plas Glansevin offers a slice of Wales at its very best.
Downstairs Description
An expansive hallway welcomes you to the mansion, with a large games room on one side and a spacious, elegant drawing room on the other side, boasting an open coal fire and bar. Three additional smaller reception rooms with TV facilities and projector screens are further along from the hall. The dining room seats 70-80 people, and an inglenook fireplace will keep you warm. We have a fully equipped kitchen looking out into the dining room and an additional preparation kitchen close by.
First Floor Description
The house sleeps 42 guests in 20 bedrooms, ranging from large en-suite rooms to more modest accommodation. If you require additional accommodation, you can also rent the Carriage Rooms from our neighbours, who can host a further 16 guests in 8 en-suite bedrooms.

Dinefwr Castle
Dinefwr Castle is a ruined castle overlooking the River Towy near the town of Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, Wales. It lies on a ridge on the northern bank of the Towy, with a steep drop of one hundred feet to the river. Dinefwr was the chief seat of the Kingdom of Deheubarth. The castle is a Grade I listed building.

The story of Carreg Cennen Castle is a long one, going back at least to the 13th century. There is archaeological evidence, however, that the Romans and prehistoric peoples occupied the craggy hilltop centuries earlier (a cache of Roman coins and four prehistoric skeletons have been unearthed at the site). Although the Welsh Princes of Deheubarth built the first castle at Carreg Cennen, what remains today dates to King Edward I's momentous period of castle-building in Wales.
