This cosy yet spacious single storey property is ideal for couples looking to get away from it all for a holiday or special break at any time of the year. The cottage an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The spacious bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with quality white cotton bed linen. There is an en-suite wet room and lovely, soft towels are provided. After a day of exploration return to the comfortable lounge with a log burning stove and plan tomorrows adventures.
Hazelrigg is one of just four high quality self-catering cottages which are delightfully situated in a rural location in the heart of the picturesque Eden Valley. There is also a fifth property available for rent (Aster cottage) a self-catering cottage which is located in the beautiful village of nearby Kirkoswald.
All of the cottages are dog friendly
Bordered in the West by the lakes and mountains of the Lake District National Park, now a World Heritage Site and to the East by the hills and waterfalls of the North Pennines and Yorkshire Dales.
All four properties are located around a central courtyard, which provides ample parking for all cottages. There is a large shared garden, predominantly laid to grass, with mature borders surrounding. Each cottage has it's own outdoor seating located close to the cottage, in addition there are various seating areas located around the garden for all to enjoy.
Other facilities include a washer/dryer, clothes airer, outside clothes line, boot rack, a Mud Daddy, additional freezer space, games, DVD's, books and maps. These facilities are shared amongst three other properties.
Hazelrigg was formerly the milking parlour and benefits from being all on one level. You enter into a open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, with the kitchen benefitting from recently fitted oak cabinets, with integrated appliances. The decor is stylish and coordinated with high quality seating options in the lounge.
Going through an open doorway, to the left is a newly fitted wet room, with the spacious bedroom directly in front. The bedroom is tastefully furnished with coordinating soft furnishings, white cotton bed linen and fluffy white towels
Each room benefits from having exposed stone walls, a gentle reminder to the history of the building.
Window Views Description
Hazelrigg lounge and kitchen windows overlook the garden, with the door overlooking the courtyard. The bedroom is dual aspect, overlooking both the courtyard and the garden.
