Tucked away at the end of a 0.5-mile track in the heart of Exmoor National Park, this secluded farmhouse is surrounded by peaceful woodland and riverside scenery. Public forest trails begin right from the doorstep, while nearby highlights include the hidden coves of Lee Bay and Woody Bay, the sweeping sands of Woolacombe (18 miles), and the charming towns of Combe Martin and Lynton & Lynmouth, home to the iconic Cliff Railway, all within 10 miles.
Inside, the farmhouse blends original character with modern comfort. Enter via the porch, perfect for storing walking gear, which leads into a fully equipped kitchen/diner with ample seating. A light-filled conservatory provides a quiet space to unwind, while the spacious lounge/diner features a wood burner, Smart TV and dining table for relaxed evenings together. From here, guests have exclusive access to a private indoor swimming pool with hot tub, changing facilities and shower. A ground-floor WC completes the layout.
Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a super-king-size bed and Juliette balcony overlooking the woodland. There is also a king-size bedroom with Smart TV, a bunk bedroom with single beds, and a further super-king-size bedroom (convertible to a twin on request) with a hidden medieval staircase leading to the lobby. Two family bathrooms, each with bath, separate shower and WC, serve the upper floor.
Outside, guests can enjoy a generous three-tiered riverside garden, a large patio with seating, and an outdoor pizza oven. Access is via a narrow private lane with speed bumps, and ample parking is available.
Please note: Dogs are permitted in the kitchen and conservatory only, with space for beds and bowls. Lounge access may be granted by prior arrangement with the caretaker.
