High Ridge Barn is a beautiful holiday Barn surrounded by farmland and located in a delightful wooded valley in the Peak District National Park. The property has been architect designed and now offers discerning guests stylish, modern and comfortable self-catering accommodation.
The double-height barn has 4 double bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people, and a superbly equipped kitchen diner and cosy and inviting living room. You will have your own private half-acre gated gardens and parking, a large wood-fired sauna, a BBQ, secure bike storage, and a dog grooming chalet with all the mod cons. Your pets are very welcome.
This is the ideal location to get away from it all. Stunning countryside, fabulous scenery this is a walker and cyclists paradise. There is a large network of walking and cycling routes easily accessible from High Ridge. There are many local attractions including the renowned Wincle Brewery and some great pubs and restaurants nearby.
Outside High Ridge there is plenty of space and has secure and gated gardens with parking for at least four cars immediately outside the front door. There is a stable for secure bike storage. There is also a large BBQ for al fresco dining and even a Sauna.
This is doggy heaven and the owners are super dog friendly... properly dog friendly. There is even a dog-grooming parlour on site.
Our kitchen / dining area is large, modern and well-equipped. The main barn is double-height, with a modern open plan kitchen diner with seating for 8 people, and includes a double Neff oven, microwave, convection hob, a full-size fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer. The fully-equipped kitchen is stocked with ample cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, glasses, mugs and utensils ranging from the usual spoons and whisks to herb scissors and an oyster shucker!
The kitchen dining area opens onto the large living area including 2 enormous velvet sofas, and an efficient log burning stove. There is a 43’’ TV, with Freesat, BluRay DVD player, and a Bluetooth speaker. We have free WiFi with a 50mpbs connection.
The views through the large barn windows towards Swythamley Hall extending to Croker Hill are spectacular – if you can ignore the many visitors to the array of bird feeders (binoculars and bird-spotting books provided).
Window Views Description
The living room has a massive double-height window through which you can view the uninterrupted countryside and wondrous sunsets, or watch the woodpeckers, blue tits, coal tits, great tits, nuthatches, chaffinches and many more feed from the bird feeders.
