The real start of your stay at Lassintullich House is 17 miles ahead of you, when you drive west off Scotland’s main north-south route, the A9. This Victorian Highland lodge may be reached by three single-track roads that meander through Tay Forest Park and lead to the foot of Schiehallion, one of Scotland’s 282 Munros. It’s time to cross the cattle grid and enter a Highland glen after you get at the stone gatepost bearing the name “Lassintullich.”
The Lassintullich House is a great option for a large family or friend gathering. Complete renovations were completed in 2022, creating a cozy, openĀ and traditional home that welcomes pets. The most popular spaces in the lodge are doubled up: two luxurious kitchens, two lounges, two dining areas, and two boot rooms. There are four king bedrooms (three with en suite bathrooms) and a twin room in the Main House, and two king, two double, and one twin bedroom in the East Wing. With plenty of comfortable chairs and a classic dining room that can accommodate up to twenty people, Lassintullich is a great spot to stay and enjoy meals, coffee breaks, and aperitifs.
