Stylish family lodge on the east coast of Scotland
Lodge 3 is the ideal self-catering holiday accommodation for a family break in Fife. This lodge can comfortable cater for the whole family in three spacious bedrooms, so just perfect for up to six adults and two children.
The lodge is spacious and beautifully furnished throughout with large windows so you can enjoy the superb vistas of stunning countryside all around. Patio doors open to an outside patio area with picnic table so you can enjoy some al fresco dining while enjoying the fabulous countryside views.
The living area has all the facilities you could wish for and this two storey property features neutral décor throughout. With wooden furnishings, tartan blinds and cushions, you can relax in Scottish ambience
The lodge is just three miles or so from St Andrews, which offers a wide range of things to see and do. Visit historical buildings, beautiful beaches, shops, or dine in some very fine restaurants, cafes and pubs. Take a walk on the Fife Coastal Path or explore further afield the choice is yours.
There is parking for 2 cars directly outside the house, with a concrete pad to keep your feet clean and allow easy access. There is a picnic table on the enclosed patio, and access to the gardens and lawn in front of the house.
The ground floor of the house has a large fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area with plenty of seating for everyone. There is a cosy living room with an entire wall of glass looking out to the countryside and a private enclosed patio with picnic table (a real sun trap). The large TV in the lounge has a DVD player, plus we have a huge selection of DVDs, books, magazines and board games for you to choose from. There is also a box of activities for kids to keep themselves entertained. There is also a ground floor bedroom with en-suite featuring a walk-in shower, plus an additional WC of the hall way. With level entry from the car park this house is fully accessible for anyone with walking difficulties or a wheelchair. We also have a shower seat, high chair and travel cot available on request.
First Floor Description
On the first floor there are a further 2 bedrooms. One has an en-suite shower over a bath. The other bedroom has an en-suite with walk-in shower. This bedroom also has a small double sofabed which can sleep up to 2 children, and has space for a cot too if required.
Window Views Description
The floor-to-ceiling windows in the lounge showcase a spectacular view to the west over rural country fields and woodland. The upstairs bedrooms have views to the east (towards St Andrews and the North Sea) and to the north (to the Angus Glens around 50 miles away). The views have to be seen in person to truly appreciate the scenery.
