If you are looking to escape to the Cotswolds for a holiday or luxury break then May Cottage at Stow-on-the-Wold is a perfect choice. Furnished and equipped to the highest standards this award winning property can accommodate up to 4 guests in total comfort. This ground floor accommodation is ideal for discerning guests looking to relax in peaceful surroundings.
There is a large living room with a log fire, a conservatory, master bedroom with king-size bed with and access to en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bath and under floor heating. The second bedroom - on the ground floor, like the rest of the cottage - has twin beds and has separate access to the bathroom. The fitted kitchen has everything you might want and is finished with granite worktops and travertine flooring. The cottage is very light and peaceful, and warmed by central heating.
The Cottage enjoys an especially quiet Cotswolds location close to Stow, set back from the road in landscaped gardens. The living room and conservatory open onto a private patio with table and chairs and enclosed by pretty Cotswold walls.
There is off road parking for two cars and complimentary Wi-Fi. The Cottage is a non-smoking establishment and pets are only allowed by prior arrangement. The cottage is only a few minutes' walk to the centre of Stow and its many shops, pubs and restaurants.

Outside Description
Gardens
Although the cottage has its own private area to the front and side, guests are free to walk through the gardens of the main house which cover just under an acre. The cottage also has a private BBQ area and garden seating and a shed with a large stock of logs and kindling to the side of the property.
Parking
There is secure off-road [arking for two cars adjacent to the property which is protected by electric gates.
Downstairs Description
May Cottage provides luxury self-catering holiday accommodation in Stow-on-the-Wold for 4 in two bedrooms, all on one level.
Sitting Room
The sitting room is large and provides space for dining as well as access to a new private patio through double French windows and a door to the new conservatory. In addition to full central heating the sitting room has an open log fire in an original Georgian marble fireplace for which logs are provided. A 32 " flat screen TV (with 40 Freeview Channels) with DVD player pulls out on a extended turntable from the cupboard on the right hand side of the fireplace and there is also a mini Hi-Fi with CD player. Free secure WiFi is available throughout May Cottage. The bookcase has an interesting selection of books and there is a separate collection of paperbacks, games and local information for our guests. All the soft furnishings meet the latest fire standard and the antique furniture is in keeping with the Georgian period of the main house. The table lamps are on a 3 amp circuit and controlled from single wall switches at each end of the room.
Bedrooms
The master bedroom (with a UK king-size bed) is light and airy with arched windows opening onto the garden and the conservatory. A luxury bathroom is en-suite and the bed has an electric blanket. The second bedroom has twin beds and is also very light and airy looking onto the private front garden and incorporates a built-in hanging cupboard with shelves and drawers and a dressing table. Both beds have electric blankets. This bedroom also has its own separate access to the luxury bathroom. Both bedrooms have wall-mounted flat-screen TVs (with 40 Freeview Channels) with remote controls. A cot and high chair are available on request for guests with babies.
Bathroom
A luxury bathroom incorporates a bath, separate walk-in shower, basin, WC and heated ceramic non-slip floor. The walls have travertine tiles and there is a well-designed bathroom cabinet above the basin and electric (110/220V) shaver socket. The bathroom has under-floor heating in addition to a large wall-mounted towel rail.
Kitchen The small but well-designed kitchen has recently been fully refurbished, with black granite worktops and matching appliances, new high quality oven and hob, dishwasher, integrated washer-dryer and separate fridge and fridge-freezer. The equipment is also high end with anodised pans and Spode china. Home-made cake and shortbread, with wine and nibbles are there to greet you, as well as bacon, eggs, bread, butter, fruit juice, tea, coffee, sugar, condiments and herbs. All the necessary cleaning materials and equipment are also supplied..
Conservatory
A hand crafted conservatory accessible from both the master bedroom and the sitting room adds a very light and useful feature to the cottage especially in the winter months as it is fully double glazed and heated.
The conservatory opens onto a private patio with table and chairs at the rear of the cottage. In the summer months a gas BBQ is provided together with large sun umbrella.
Window Views Description
The cottage looks out on a beautiful private garden and guests are free to enjoy the half acre property
Open Cotswold Countryside with lovely walks is one minute walk away, whilst the ancient Market Town of Stow-on-the-Wold is three minutes walk the other way.
