The property is delightfully located on the shores of Loch Sunart. Awarded five stars from the Scottish Tourist board the cottage just oozes class and style. This is the perfect Scottish Highland retreat for family and friends.
The cottage is spacious and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. There are three en-suite bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen and an open plan dining and living area. Relax next to the wood burner for those cosy nights in after a day of exploration or just take in the fabulous views that surround you. Whatever you choose to do you will be glad you chose Oak Cottage at Sunart Adventures!
The cottages are surrounded by 15 acres of breath-taking grounds that you’re free to explore. Not sure where to start? We’d highly recommend a stroll along your own private Loch Sunart shoreline.
Downstairs is open plan, with a modern fitted kitchen equipped with everything you need for a self catering break; a spacious living area that boasts magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and plenty of room for both a lounge and a dining area, a porch to store coats and boots, a small WC and the first of three bedrooms. This downstairs bedroom has twin beds and it’s own en-suite bathroom.
First Floor Description
Upstairs there is a large gallery landing with a seating area that can be used as a second living room or snug, and two further large double bedrooms, both with their own en-suite bathrooms.
Window Views Description
One of the special touches is the spacious decked veranda where you can relax with a dram in hand, listening to the waves lapping against your private shoreline. Sit and watch the world go by, which in this rural location, consists mostly of local wildlife. Red deer regularly visit at sunrise and sunset to graze near the cottage and it’s not uncommon to spot other nocturnal animals from the veranda around sunset, too.
