Pound cottage is ideal for a small family as it sleeps up to 4 guests in two spacious bedrooms as it is all on one level easily accessible for guests less able. The large open plan living area makes the cottage perfect for families with smaller children as does the outside picnic area patio and table.
Facilities on the complex include Hot tub, tennis court, heated outdoor pool (Easter-end September), games room, play area on site.
Just 10 minutes from the coast the property is perfectly located to explore North Cornwall and North Devon. The seaside town of Bude is just a short drive away and there is so much to see and do in this part of Cornwall including: fabulous beaches, try some surfing, kayaking or other watersports, maybe a game of golf by the sea or a bracing walk on the nearby SW coastal path.

Outside Description
There is a patio area with table and chairs outside the living space (not fenced off). This is just over from the play area so it is ideal for keeping an eye on small children.
Downstairs Description
Pound is all on one floor. The entrance opens into a spacious open plan living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washer dryer, electric oven and gas hob. There is a dining table (seats up to 6 comfortably). The double bedroom has a king size bed and there is a spacious twin room too. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. Parking is available outside for wheelchair users.

Pound looks over the play area field to the field where the ponies and chickens are.

Our local town. 10 minutes away. Bude is a small seaside town with independent shops and cafes. There are two beaches and the Bude Sea Pool. Walk along the cliffs from one beach to another. Explore the area around the Wharf where you can visit the heritage centre in the Castle, cross over the canal at the sea lock and take a walk along the Breakwater. Hire a pedalo or rowing boat and go inland along the canal.

Explore the harbour and the village. Take in the views from the coastal path, or wander back inland along the River Valency. Plenty of places to eat, from pasties to pubs. Boscastle Farm Shop on the road back up to the A39 is also worth a visit.

Explore the ruined castle and learn about King Arthur. Currently closed (July 2019) for construction of a footbridge which will improve access.

About 50 minutes - 1 hour away. Definitely worth a visit, especially outside school holidays when it is quieter. We love it in the winter when the ice rink is open and you can warm up afterwards in the tropical biome.

Explore the spectacular scenery between Boscastle and Tintagel. Rocky Valley is owned by the National Trust - you can extend the walk to take in the coastal path above Bossiney Haven too. St Nectan's Glen is privately owned and there is a charge to visit the waterfall - well worth it. The cafe at the top of the path is also worth a visit.
