Outside Description
The garden outside has a small stretch of lawn to sit outside in, and a picnic bench in a paved area. The garden is well screened from the public road with bushes. Parking for one car is right beside the door on a paved area and there is nearby space for a second vehicle. The cottage is right beside the agricultural barn so guests might hear and see farm activity
Downstairs Description
Open plan living area with well-equipped kitchen and multi-fuel stove for extra cosiness. Dining table seats 6. I ensuite bedroom with shower and toilet at the far end. Small single bedroom beside it. Good sized bathroom with bath and wheel-in power shower also on ground floor. Spacious separate porch area as you enter the cottage which serves as a utility area with washing machine and tumble drier, large sink, and stores garden chairs and lots of wellie boots for those who wish to explore our farm. Also useful if you wish to leave your dog for a few hours as it can be shut off from the rest of the house.
First Floor Description
Upstairs there is a small gallery area leading into a bedroom with a double bed and 2 single beds and a good amount of floor space for children to use for playing with toys. A toilet and sink beside this bedroom saves guests coming downstairs at night. So there are in fact 7 sleeping spaces, though we advertise the cottage as sleeping 6. An extra charge of £50 per week applies if there is a 7th person.
