Sunnybrae House is a bright and modern self-catering home with hot tub, located in the seaside town of Stonehaven. Perfect for families and large groups, our house sleeps up to10 guests in 5 bedrooms. The house features 2 cosy living spaces with logburning fires and a beautiful, modern kitchen overlooking the sunny garden. Stonehaven is a perfect spot for families, with the beach and harbour a short walk from the property, along with great walking and cycling routes, local cafes and independent shops nearby.
Sunnybrae House is a bright and modern holiday home, which has been recently renovated throughout to a high standard. The House is beautifully decorated and has comfortable beds, a stunning modern kitchen and two bath/shower rooms, along with 2 living areas on the ground floor.
On entering Sunnybrae House, guests will find our beautiful modern Kitchen, with amazing sliding glass doors which take in the views of the garden, trees, and the Stonehaven War Memorial perched on the hillside in the distance. Our Kitchen features an electric double oven and hob, Nespresso coffee machine, Quooker hot water tap, and a dishwasher, along with all necessary amenities for cooking during your stay. Our dining table, located in the kitchen, extends for guests to relax and enjoy meals together.
Adjoining the Kitchen, guests will find our relaxed Snug, with comfortable seating, an open fire and a piano for our more musical guests. The Snug also holds plenty of games, books and activities for children, including our small play kitchen.
In the Living room, you can relax with your feet up and sink into our comfortable sofas after a day of exploring. The logburning fire is a favourite feature of our guests, making this a cosy and luxurious space. Our smart TV has access to services such as Netflix for streaming your favourite TV shows and films.
There is a small cloakroom under the stairs with a toilet and sink.
On the first floor, the property has 5 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobe and a desk should guests wish to work from a laptop during their stay.
Children will love our Bunk Room, which sleeps two in single size bunk beds.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 have double beds, while our final bedroom can double as an additional TV room or living space, with a double sofa bed which can be made up for guests if required. Please note that this room is accessed via Bedroom 3 and also has a private staircase leading directly to the Kitchen. All bedrooms have plenty of space for unpacking and hanging items during your stay.
There is an en-suite shower room in the Master Bedroom with a walk in shower, toilet and sink. There is an additional Family bathroom on the landing for guests to use, with a toilet, sink, and a bath with an overhead shower. Luxury toiletries from Scottish Fine Soaps and plush towels are provided for your use.
