The Cider House is one of just three, high quality, dog friendly cottages at Nutcombe Holiday Cottages, delightfully located on the Edge of Exmoor National Park on the outskirts of beautiful coastal village of Combe Martin in North Devon. Sleeping up to 4 guests, it is ideal for couples and small families as well as the family dog.
As a converted Devon bank barn, Cider House offers unusual accommodation with an upper ground floor accessed from the rear into a beautiful open plan, living space with s Shaker style fully fitted kitchen/dining area that opens into the cosy living room with stunning views over the landscaped gardens to the countryside beyond. Lovingly renovated whilst retaining many of the original features with exposed beams, English oak flooring, original stonework and granite workstops, Cider House offers modern rustic charm.
The two bedrooms are located on the lower ground floor. A lovely king size room has a convenient en-suite bathroom with a full size bath and overhead shower, solid oak furniture and stunning views over the terrace to the countryside. The second bedroom can be set up as a single room or a small twin or with a single and a cot for small families. This room also has a lovely limestone shower room with double size shower with rainfall head and massage jet system. Making Cider House perfect for small families or 3 adults.
Access to the enclosed south facing sun terrace, is from the single bedroom. Here you will find dining furniture and a pair of sun loungers, so you can sit back and relax and enjoy the views and watch the swallows dipping over the pond; a perfect place to unwind at the end of a day exploring North Devon.
Open all year round and for short breaks (October-May Half Term), Cider House makes the ideal base for family holidays wanting to explore the fabulous Devon beachs or couples wanting to relax and unwind or explore Exmoor and the South West Coast Path, whatever the season.
You can even bring along your four legged friend who will love a run in our dedicated dog garden and three-acre field. We welcome two small or one medium size dog at £25 per stay. There is also ample off-road parking.
