The Cowshed at Manor House Farm Cottages is one of just 4 luxury holiday cottages in a delightful location in The Peak District National Park.
Once a cow shed the cottage has been lovingly converted in to a gorgeous holiday cottage than can sleep up to four guests in total comfort. There are 2 spacious bedrooms that are both en-suite making the cottage ideal for small families and couples. There are superb rural views from nearly every window.
The open-plan living area is flooded with light from the large glazed opening, which leads to your own patio area within the courtyard. A well-equipped kitchen, including a dish-washer, is designed to make your stay as easy as possible.
The open plan kitchen/dining area allows you to mingle with the rest of your group while you prepare dinner, and the atmosphere is set off by the lovely log-burning stove.
This is a dog friendly property where one well-behaved dog is welcome (additional £25 charge applies).
From a romantic retreat for two in The Milking Parlour through to The Hayloft sleeping twelve guests, Manor House Farm Cottages can be booked individually or in combinations to suit any size of group up to 22 people in total. The courtyard of stone barns have been refurbished to a very high standard and have been open for visitors since April 2019
There is a small private seating area but also a large BBQ area nearby which catches the evening sun and glorious sunsets. You can also venture into the woods for a picnic or maybe an evening around the fire pit with a blanket.
We have an extremely large games room fully stocked with board games as well as pool and table tennis and a little corner for young ones to enjoy.
All ground floor accommodation with heated stone floors throughout. There are 2 bedrooms, both en-suite with heated towel rails, one having a walk in shower, while the other has a bath with shower over. Many beautiful original features including exposed beams and stone walls. The log burner makes for cosy evenings in while listening to old records and sipping your favourite drink.
Huge windows in the lounge allow natural light and sunshine to flood in and give great views of stunning surrounding countryside.

The cottage is located in the most idyllic location with 360 degree views and has the most breath taking scenery. If you feel energetic, why not bring along your bikes and make use of the safe cycle storage on site and miles of safe cycle trails very close by.
