This rural retreat has been sympathetically finished with an eclectic mix of both old and new, simply perfect for those wanting to explore the Herefordshire countryside and Brecon Beacons National Park
It is set within the heart of a family fruit farm, where cider apples and blackcurrants grow alongside a young thoroughbred racehorse enterprise. Here you can enjoy a walk from your doorstep across acres of farmland including a lake. For a more challenging walk, head further afield to the Black Mountains, Offa’s Dyke Path or even the Malvern Hills. The River Wye meanders close by, where you can hire a canoe locally or even have a paddle board tour at Preston on Wye. Canoe hire is also available from Hay-on-Wye and Glasbury. A trip to the Welsh Border market town of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its many book shops, is highly recommended. The cathedral city of Hereford, food hub of Ludlow, and Wales’ gateway, Abergavenny, are all easily accessible by car.
