You enter the hall via the front door and there are two reception rooms either side, a library and a family room/snug, the staircase is in front of you and to the left is the formal lounge which will lead out to the garden and a downstairs cloakroom. To the right is the sumptuous dining room that will seat 16, the hall to the back of the house leads to the boiler room, a good place for drying dogs, the laundry room and the kitchen and breakfast area. There is a patio outside the kitchen and the breakfast room looks out over a cobbled Elizabethan courtyard.
First Floor Description
There are two flights of stair to the first floor, the front stairs which curl up through the centre of the house are open with metalwork and wood banisters. These lead onto a wide landing, lit by a sky light here there are 2 bedrooms in front of you both with views over the Severn. The larger of these rooms boasts a four poster bed and a sofa bed, the other room is smaller but cosy with a beautiful french bed. These 2 rooms use the family bathroom across the landing which can also be accessed from the back stairs. To the right there is a small set of stairs to a twin bedded room with a dual aspect on garden and ensuite with bath and shower. If you turn left at the top of the stairs there are three small stairs leading to a room on the left with a 5' bed and sofa, this has a door that links it to the main ensuite which make it ideal for part of a family suite or the family bathroom can be used. At the end of this landing is the main bedroom with a grand four poster bed, dual aspect views, dressing room and ensuite with shower and bath.
Second Floor and Above Description
The stairs from outside the main bedroom lead up to two bedrooms which in the early 1800s would have housed the children of the house and the nanny, these both have ensuites and one is a 5' bed or a twin room and the other has a wooden 5' tester bed and sofa, both these rooms have stunning views out to the front over the Severn
Window Views Description
The bedrooms all bar one look out onto the front lawns and down to the river Severn
