If you are looking to escape to the beautiful county of Derbyshire for a holiday or special break with friends of family then Holestone Moror Barns may well be the perfect choice. Ideal for extended families and large groups there are two barns available at Holestone Moor Barns:
The Barn sleeps 9 with dining for 14
Stables sleep 4 + cot
Many of our guests hire both cottages together (known collectively as The Steadings), sleeping up to 13 (plus 2 cots). Ideal for multi-generational family groups.
The cottages are graded 5* Gold and are a safe and very comfortable environment for all members of the family, having been designed to accommodate couples, large extended families or groups of friends.
Both cottages retain many of the original features of the old barns including open ceilings, oak beams and exposed stonework. Each cottage has a log burning stove, Freesat TV, DVD and free WiFi.
The Barn dines 13 and has 5 en suite bedrooms: one double, three twins one with ground floor disabled bedroom with wet-room and one single bedroom.
There's a well-equipped games room with DVD room and toys for under 5's. Outside is a climbing frame and swing. With open countryside on the door step for walking or cycling, there are many things to do without travelling at all.
The cottages are very well equipped for self-catering or we can recommend excellent local caterers for in house dining who will cook and serve a meal for you. A wide choice of welcoming pubs, restaurants and coffee shops can be found within a few miles and Matlock (10 minutes drive) has good butchers, bakers and a supermarket.
