Valley View is in a secluded location, perfect for couples, with dogs or have accessibility requirements and is delightfully situated in the glorious Herefordshire countryside. Explore idyllic countryside that is an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, close to Symonds Yat, the Wye Valley & Forest of Dean in South Herefordshire.
Accommodation
The property (M3, H2 and V1), has been recently converted and is a wonderful mix of ancient character and modern facilities.
Valley View overlooks the beautiful Garron Valley and has been beautifully restored to allow full wheelchair accessibility.
The beamed lounge has ample seating with views over the valley.
There is an adjacent private patio is easily accessible for wheelchair users.
The fully equipped kitchen has been skilfully designed to incorporate rise and fall work surfaces with a fully accessible sink and hob.
Dog Friendly
We welcome all breeds of dog at Thatch Close Cottages, as long as they are friendly, well behaved and ‘play well with others’. We are especially delighted to welcome Assistance Dogs, Guide dogs & Hearing Dogs at all our cottages and specifically at Valley View, which is accessible and so they can support their owner so you can all have a most enjoyable holiday in Herefordshire.
There are two other cottages on site , Bramble's Barn, [sleeps 4]adjacent and can be internally accessed from Valley View .
Also Cider Cottage, sleeps 2.

Ample accessible parking, two patios adjacent to the cottage, with a dog secure area between the two patios . There are wonderful views over the Garron Valley, and a large accessible patio with full size pizza oven and BBQ.. There are over 12 acres or re-wilded ancient pasture with a wealth of trees and ancient hedges., for guests and their dogs to roam and explore . Relax on the patios and catch the morning sun and sunsets with a drink of your choice ..

5 Star rated Valley View welcomes dogs and is a wheelchair accessible cottage , with adjacent free parking and free Wi-Fi. There are two patios , one to catch the morning sun and the other to view sunsets over the Garron Valley. A dog safe enclosure leads onto 12 acres or re-wilded meadow for dogs to explore . Adjacent to an ANOB [ Wye Valley and Forest of Dean Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty] In addition the new patio has a pizza oven and BBQ. A host of activities , walking, cycling, canoeing exploring the Welsh Marches , or just mooching about in the nearby market towns of Ross and Monmouth
First Floor Description
The cottage is along one level with underfloor heating together with an air refreshing system ensures comfort whatever the weather. The parking is adjacent to the cottage, extra width doors lead into the living room with TV and free Wi-Fi. .The kitchen diner , has Altro non-slip flooring , a rise and fall worktop, microwave, oven, dishwasher fridge/freezer and well stocked with everything you could need .. The en-suite bedroom is accessed through an extra wide door . There are two large single beds, which can be made into a double. A rise and fall dressing table and full length wardrobe .
The wet room has an Altro non-slip floor, with rise and fall sink, removable stainless steel assistance rails, shower with accessible seat , and Geberit wash and dry toilet.
