The Peak District National Park is a destination that everyone should visit at least once. However, you can choose from rural Peak District holiday cottages and accommodation in historic towns such as Derby, making this region a flexible choice.
No trip to the Peak District would be complete without some time spent hiking through the luscious hills. However, if you prefer, many of the trails are also accessible by bike. For families, Pooles Cavern is well worth a visit, with fascinating limestone caverns dotted with crystal stalactites underneath woodland trails that boast a panoramic view of the District. Alternatively, visit the famous Chatsworth House and its regal gardens, which hosts various events for all ages throughout the year.
